There are plenty of hotels to visit in London. There are some unique hotels that you can find only in London. In the coming paragraphs I will go over the must see hotels located in London and point out some key attractions and points of each of these famously noted places to stay and visit. The first hotel that comes to mind is called Browns Hotel. Browns Hotel is the absolute oldest hotel in London. You can schedule time for tea at this hotel during the afternoon. Another really awesome fact about this hotel is that Alexander Graham Bell made the first telephone call ever from here. It's definitely a hotel to go down in history and a must see while in London. A hotel full of beauty is one called Threadneedles. This hotel has a 19th century dome which is made out of glass and located in the lobby. This hotel was once a bank before being turned into a stunning hotel and also includes wood-paneling and marble columns. Even though the hotel is known for being historic, it also has some very modern items such as plasma screen TV's in the rooms and docks/charging stations for your iPods and iPhones. Now let's talk about the Courthouse Doubletree by Hilton. This hotel is one of the most fun to visit. It really is an old courthouse and includes 3 original prison cells in which you can have dinner! Also, the lobby of the hotel contains original iron bars from other cells. It's pretty fantastic to know that famous people such as John Lennon had actual cases here. During your stay, if you want to visit a hotel with a lot of history then The Savoy is the place for you. This hotel is well known for famous leaders and celebrities to stay. It includes a ballroom that was restored just a couple of years ago, it also has a newly remodeled restaurant and grille as well as a new bar. For folks who like to feel cozy there is a great family owned hotel called The Goring. This is a family owned and operated hotel that has been in business for over 100 years. This hotel is located near Buckingham Palace and is immaculately kept, even the outside and grass area. Another hotel is The Bingham. This hotel only has 15 rooms, and each room is differently decorated. Some include jacuzzi's while others can give you a nice view of the river. The Bingham is very elegant and its diverse character shows throughout the 15 different rooms available. London even has hotels that are geared towards adventurous people! If you plan to visit and tour London via helicopter then Hotel Verta is the hotel for you. Its located right near the London Heliport and has plenty of room to park your helicopter. This hotel has 70 rooms and also include both a restaurant and spa. If you are looking to stay in luxury then The Wyndham Grand London Chelsea Harbour is the way to go.
